Airports

Thankfully, there are many more possibilities because taking a taxi into the heart of Tokyo will cost you more than $200 AU.

Narita International Airport

The JR Narita Express (NEX) is the most pleasant way to travel the hour-long distance from Narita Airport to central Tokyo (Tokyo Station), which is approximately 60 kilometers east of the city center. The JR Sobu Line is slower but less expensive. Trains depart from the Terminals 1 and 2 subterranean rail stations. There are also buses available, and due to the high expense, taking a taxi to the airport is not advised.

Haneda Airport

The Tokyo Monorail, which links with Hamamatsucho Station on the JR Yamanote Line, or Keikyu Railways, which connects with Shinagawa Station, are the two finest routes to go from Haneda Airport to central Tokyo.
